The Faultbox is an effective way to introduce real world faults into your technical training curriculum. The versatility of this device allows it to be used for many different applications. Teaching a drivability class? No problem, the Faultbox can easily be integrated into the powertrain control module harness and you are creating faults in no time.

Need to teach a course on body control systems the next day? With the purchase of an additional harness kit, you simply unplug the box from the PCM and connect it to the BCM harness and you're ready to go.

VARIOUS MODELS AND CUSTOM VERSIONS AVAILABLE TO MEET YOUR TRAINING NEEDS

The Faultbox was created with the educator in mind. You can create up to 30 faults in a combination of engine, transmission, body, and/or communication systems. There is no need to purchase an expensive stand-alone training system to give students the hands-on experience needed to accomplish over 70 NATEF tasks. Just connect the Faultbox to a real vehicle you already have and have your students diagnose problems they way they would in the field.

The Faultbox conceals easily in the passenger compartment or trunk. To prevent any curious students from making changes, the case can be locked with a padlock (not included). Installation is straightforward; if you can read a wiring schematic and perform basic wiring repairs, you can install the Faultbox. Professional installation is available if you have limited time or resources.

There are various models available for different applications. Custom units that can be tailored to your particular needs are also available. For more information contact us at: faultbox@cutawaycreations.com.
